Tyler - Lowery's classmate who has sat beside her since the beginning of the year. He helps her with her work. He opens all of her lunch things for her. His twin sister is in Lowery's dance class and each week he waits for Lowery after class, holds the door for her and helps her with her bag. And then he made this for her in art class yesterday.

My Little Valentine
Lowery is my precious, precious valentine. I love her more than words can say and sometimes my heart feels like it will break when I look at her sweet face. She is growing, but is still the little baby with blue eyes and "fat girl" chuckle she's been since day one. (Of course my husband is my number one valentine, but I didn't get to attend a class party and decorate sugar cookies with him:) It's funny, although she has no idea what romantic love is yet the thought of candy and cards from friends made it a very, very big day in her world. I wish they could stay this innocent forever, that her heart would never be broken, and that her true valentine would always be her Daddy. I don't know why we had such a great time at this little class party, but it was a fun and special time for us. Maybe it's because she's growing too fast, or maybe it's because I can't imagine my heart overflowing with more love for another child that will soon be here - either way, it was a special day with my little girl.

Finally, Our Very Own Snow Post
We can now join the ranks of everyone in Arkansas that have had all of the great posts with snowy wonderlands. A rare and beautiful snow in Dallas, we had 5 inches as of 3 this afternoon. I need to do another measure. It has snowed all day - Lowery actually had school since the roads were completely fine until around 5 this evening. After school Lowery was anxious to get out and play so we bundled up and headed out for lots of fun. We made a snowman - it's a little vertically challenged, but Steve wasn't home yet and it's hard for this pregnant lady to lean over and get the snowballs rolling. So here is our Dallas version of the winter wonderland. I will say that although we haven't had as much as everyone in Arkansas I, like all of you, am ready for Spring! Everyone remind me of that when we have our first 100 degree day in May :)
